WIND FARM Dębsk

The Dębsk Wind Farm project is implemented by SPV Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa 3 Sp. z o.o. It is located in the Żuromin gmina and in the Kuczbork-Osada gmina, in the Żuromin poviat, in Mazowieckie Province, within an area designated by the location of the Zielona village (north-western corner), Kuczbork (north-eastern corner), Wólka Kliczewska (eastern corner), Małocin (south-eastern corner), Dębsk (southern corner) and Chamsk (south-western corner). Fourteen wind turbines will be located in the Kuczbork-Osada gmina whereas the remaining forty-one in the Żuromin gmina.

The environmental impact assessment procedure for the Dębsk Wind Farm was carried out by competent authorities, i.e. the Mayor of the Żuromin Gmina and Town and Commune Head of Kuczbork-Osada. During the procedure, the State Sanitary Inspector and the Regional Environmental Protection Directorate were consulted, in line with the requirements of the environmental protection law. The procedure also allowed for the participation of stakeholders. The procedure ended with issue of two decisions on environmental constraints permitting the construction of up to sixty-two wind turbines and the required infrastructure:
•    the decision on environmental constraints issued by the Commune Head of Kuczbork-Osada for the investment comprising construction of the “Żuromin FW2” wind farm with a total maximum capacity up to 87 MW which will consist of: up to twenty-nine wind turbines with a capacity up to 3 MW each, underground connections to the main power supply station, internal access roads (document No. GKB 7624-6/09/10/11 issued on 4 January 2011);
•    the decision on environmental constraints issued by the Mayor of the Żuromin Gmina and Town for the investment comprising construction of the “Żuromin FW3” wind farm with a total maximum capacity up to 99 MW which will consist of: up to thirty-three wind turbines with acoustic capacity not exceeding 106.5 dB each and with a capacity up to 3MW each (document No. IBGKiOŚ 7624-48/09/10 issued on 7 January 2011).
The project also received a permit for the construction of wind turbines along with the accompanying infrastructure. Eventually, the company decided to build fifty-five wind turbines.
The capacity of individual Vestas V110 - 2.2 MW wind turbines will amount to 2.2 MW. The parameters of the wind turbines will be as follows:
•    hub height: 120 m;
•    propeller diameter: 110 m.

The total installed capacity of the wind farm will be 121 MW. The project also encompasses the main power supply station, underground infrastructure of power and control cables, as well as access roads for individual wind turbines and service and assembly yards. The energy generated by the wind turbines of the Dębsk Wind Farm will be sent by underground cables to the main power supply station. After converting the voltage to high, the energy will be sent via a 110 kV underground cable line with a length of 63 km to the Kruszczewo main power supply station.
