Polish Energy Partners Spółka Akcyjna (the “Company”) hereby informs that on July 21, 2009, the Company was informed that PZU Życie S.A. (“PZU Życie”) transferred 123,266 shares of the Company.
As a result of the aforementioned share transfer, PZU Życie now holds (as at July 16, 2009) 883,100 shares of the Company that authorize it to exercise 4.70% of the total number of votes at the General Shareholders Meeting of the Company and represent 4.70% of the total number of Company shares.
Prior to the aforementioned share transfer, PZU Życie held 1,006,366 shares of the Company authorizing it to exercise 5.35% of the total number of votes at the General Shareholders Meeting of the Company and representing 5.35% of the total number of Company shares.
According to the information acquired by the Company, the transfer of the Company shares described herein formed a part of the acquisition of the Company shares by PZU Asset Management S.A., of which the Company informed in its Current Report No. 33/2009.
