PARTICIPATION OF THE SUBSIDIARY POLENERGIA S.A. IN THE MAIN AUCTION OF THE CAPACITY MARKET FOR THE DELIVERY YEAR 2028

The Management Board of the company under the name Polenergia S.A. (“Issuer”) hereby informs that on December 14, 2023, the Issuer’s subsidiary – Polenergia Elektrociepłownia Nowa Sarzyna sp. z o.o. based in Nowa Sarzyna (“ENS”) took part in the main capacity market auction for the delivery year 2028. During the auction, ENS offered a capacity obligation for 2028 in the total amount of 112 MW. ENS did not submit an offer to exit the auction until the end of the auction. The closing price of the auction, which ended in the 6th round, is within the range of the maximum price of PLN 264.05/kW/year and the minimum price of PLN 226.36/kW/year.
