Polish Energy Partners Spółka Akcyjna (‘Company’) hereby informs that on 31st December 2010 the Company concluded with Metsa Tissue Poland Sp. z o.o. (‘MTP’) a contract for sale of Jeziorna CHP for a total gross amount of PLN 6 527 000. Moreover, the Company and its subsidiary – Energopep Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, EC Jeziorna, Spółka Komandytowa (‘EP’) – concluded with MTP and Metsa Tissue Oy an agreement on (i) termination of contracts relating to the so-called Jeziorna Project (in particular the General Agreement of 21st December 2004), and (ii) takeover by MTP of heat supplies to the existing EP customers. The aforementioned transaction will not affect the Company realisation of EBITDA results and net profit in 2010 and will enable the Company to release resources in the amount of approximately PLN 5 000 000.
