Polish Energy Partners Spółka Akcyjna (the “Company”) hereby informs that on August 4, 2009, the Company was informed by BPH Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. (“BPH TFI”) that BPH Fundusz Inwestycyjny Otwarty Parasolowy and other entities to which BPH TFI renders provided portfolio management services (“BPH TFI Clients”) acquired Company shares as a result of which BPH TFI holds on behalf of BPH TFI Clients the aggregate of 945,922 Company shares that represent 5.03% shares of the Company that authorize it to exercise 945,922 votes at the General Shareholders Meeting of the Company which represents 5.03% of the total number of votes.
Prior to the share purchase completed on July 28, 2009, as a result of which BPH TFI acquired the aforementioned share in the Company, BPH TFI held in aggregate, on behalf of BPH TFI Clients, 925,922 shares of the Company representing 4.93% of the total number of Company shares authorizing it to exercise 925,922 votes at the General Shareholders Meeting of the Company that represented 4.93% of the total number of votes.
