ACQUISITION OF THE COMPANY SHARES

Polish Energy Partners Spółka Akcyjna (‘Company’) hereby informs that on 21st March 2012 the Company received a notification in accordance with which ING Otwarty Fundusz Emerytalny with its registered office in Warsaw (‘ING’), as a result of the Company shares acquisition (settled on 16th March 2012), holds the Company shares representing over 10% of the total number of votes at the Company General Assembly. Before the said transaction, ING held 2 131 202 shares of the Company, representing 9.9991% of the total number of the Company shares and entitling to 9.9991% of the total number of votes at the Company General Assembly. On 21st March 2012 ING holds 2 269 098 shares of the Company, representing 10.65% of the total number of the Company shares and entitling to 10.65% of the total number of votes at the Company General Assembly. According to the information submitted to the Company, over the next 12 months ING may acquire or dispose of the Company shares depending on the market conditions and the Company’s financial standing. Acquisition of the Company shares aims at funds investment within the frames of ING investment activity.
