Portfolio management and trading

We support energy market entities operating in the European market in portfolio management.

cPPAs Agreement

We support companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint and simultaneously become independent of energy price fluctuations.

Structured products

We cooperate with producers in the RES segment (energy repurchase) and sell green energy to companies.

Portfolio management and trading

We cooperate with producers in the RES segment (energy repurchase) and sell green energy to companies.

In 2020, we were granted an extension of our license to trade electricity in Poland. Since 2013, we have been a full direct member of the EPEX SPOT SE exchange, and since 2018 we have also been a member of the EEX exchange.

Since 2016, we have been trading on the ICE exchange in London for CO2 emission allowances. Since October 2013, we have been an active direct member of the Polish Power Exchange, a supporting member of the Society for Energy Trading (TOE) and a regular member of the European organization of trading companies: European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET).

At the same time, we are increasing the number of trading partners in the OTC markets. In 2014, we obtained a license for trading in gaseous fuels (OPG) and trading in gas with foreign countries (OGZ). At the end of 2017, we began trading gas on the ICE Endex exchange.

Managing Polenergia Group’s unique portfolio has enabled us to gain experience, which we use to serve other green energy producers.

We provide process outsourcing that allows owners of generation assets to focus on business development. We also offer the service of trading balancing of electricity in the National Power System.

We offer services based on PPA and PPA+ agreements

Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (cPPAs) are contracts concluded between the power consumer directly and the power producer. In the case of Polenergia, this means a producer who has a wide portfolio of Renewable Energy Sources (RES). The time horizon of this type of contracts reaches up to 20 years. During this time, energy is sold at a pre-agreed price.

Advantages of a PPA contract with a producer who owns RES:

  • Enable the customer to become independent of fluctuations in market energy prices
  • Allow the company to reduce its carbon footprint, which prepares it for the requirements of decarbonization of the European economy in the 2030 and 2050 horizons and reporting
  • Positions the recipient as a company that is committed to fighting climate change (marketing benefits and relationship advantages with key customers of products and services)

PPA+ is a coexisting agreement with the PPA, whereby we guarantee the balance of the complete physical supply to the customer to fully meet its consumption needs.

The service is based on the comprehensive supplementation of deficiencies and compensation of surpluses that may occur in the delivery of renewable energy volumes to the customer.

Structured products

As part of structured solutions, they are cooperating with us:

Producers
of
green energy

The companies that want to benefit from the variable price of energy by diversifying its sources and delivery dates

As part of our structured arrangements, we work with renewable energy producers (RES) and business customers who want to be able to consume green energy, but need a complementary service.

For RES producers, we offer repurchase of energy generated from renewable sources (Origination) based on flexible market products.
