Polenergia is the largest Polish private energy group, which consists of vertically integrated companies operating in the area of energy generation from renewable and low-emission sources as well as distribution and trade of electricity. Polenergia is the first Polish company to subordinate its development vision to the construction of a zero-emission economy. The Group is involved in the development of onshore wind farms, photovoltaic farms, electromobility and hydrogen transformation.

A strategic project implemented by Polenergia is the construction of wind farms in the Baltic Sea with a total capacity of up to 3,000 MW in cooperation with Norwegian Equinor. Since 2005, Polenergia shares have been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Stock Exchange and Investors newspaper “Parkiet” honored Polenergia with the “Bull and Bear” award for the best company in the sWIG80 index in 2018.

In 2023, the Group adopted a Sustainable Development Strategy, the time horizon of which reaches 2030. The adopted strategy is a consequence of the implementation of the United Nations Agenda 2030 and an element of the implementation of the European Green Deal, the aim of which is climate neutrality of the European Union by 2050.
