CEE Energy Awards

We would like, both at Kulczyk Investments and at the Polenergia Group to share the news of which we are proud – during the annual CEE Energy Awards (http://ceeenergyawards.com/) we were fortunate to receive two awards:

1. Wind Energy Company of the Year: http://ceeenergyawards.com/categories-and-nominationprocess/. Awarded to PEP/Polenergia in recognition of the successful strategy of building a strong on shore operational base, closing of a project financing last year for 70MW, development of one of the best advanced near term on-shore pipelines in Poland, plus a consistent approach to off shore wind for the future. The jury for this award (http://ceeenergyawards.com/jury/) was formed of lawyers, bankers, consultants, investors, think tanks, strategic/financial players and journalists.
2. Leadership Award: http://ceeenergyawards.com/2014-cee-energy-leadership-award. Awarded to Zbigniew Prokopowicz in recognition of his achievements in the Polish energy sector, leadership in renewables energy, and strategy to build a major utility across the full electricity value chain. The award was given after a thorough analysis/shortlisting of potential nominees through interviews with key players in the CEE energy markets selected from a wide array of sources including financiers, engineers, lawyers, consultants, market players and journalists.
