The Management Board of Polenergia SA (“Issuer”), in reference to current report No. 33/2019 of December 6, 2019, hereby informs that pursuant to the preliminary results of the main auction announced on December 10, 2019 for the delivery year 2024, the main auction for delivery year 2024 ended in round 5 with a closing price of PLN 259.87/kW/year.
Due to the announcement of preliminary results of the main auction for the delivery year 2024, a capacity contract was concluded with the Issuer’s subsidiary – Polenergia Elektrociepłownia Nowa Sarzyna sp. z o.o. with its registered seat in Nowa Sarzyna. The total quantity of the capacity obligation resulting from the above the contract amounts to 111 MW. The contract was concluded for a period of 1 year, subject to the condition precedent until the final results of the auction are announced by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office.
