The Management Board of the company under the name of Polenergia S.A. (“Issuer”), hereby informs that the Issuer’s subsidiary, i.e. Polenergia Farma Wiatrowa Bądecz Sp. z o.o. (“Company”), received on December 23, 2024, through the Internet Auction Platform, in accordance with Article 81 paragraph 5 of the Act of February 20, 2015 on Renewable Energy Sources (“RES Act”), information that the Company won the ordinary auction AZ/7/2024 in the scope of the renewable energy source installation project implemented by it – Bądecz wind farm with an installed capacity of 48.3 MW.
Thus, the Bądecz wind farm project has been granted the right to cover the negative balance in relation to the price offered during the auction for less than 1% of the electricity planned to be produced by the Company over a period of 15 years, in accordance with the provisions of the RES Act.
Legal basis: Article 17 paragraph 1 of the Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on market abuse and repealing Directive 2003/6/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Directives 2003/124/EC, 2003/125/EC and 2004/72/EC (Journal of Laws of the EU, L. of 2014, No. 173, p. 1, as amended).
